Host an employability event

Ashurst employability event

Through these informal, face-to-face sessions, company employees use their skills to help our candidates hone their CVs, prepare for interviews and get ready for their first day in a new job.

Your staff will leave knowing they have made a difference in helping our candidates gain confidence.

I was already open to the idea of working with women with convictions – but after Working Chance’s employability event, I am now convinced it’s a great pathway to follow.

Jess Ireland R&O Manager, Nike

Usually hosted within one of our corporate partner City offices or within a women's prison, these half-day events involve:

Practice Interviews

Candidates have the opportunity to network with industry experts to practice their communication skills. They are encouraged to rehearse disclosing their conviction in preparation for real life interviews

'Pitch Your Product' Exercise

Candidates and employers are split into mixed teams and given a product development task. Working together, they will have to prepare a sales pitch for their product. This will be judged by a panel of experts, with a winning team and product selected at the end.

Our pioneering 'speed-interview' sessions are now reproduced by many in the sector.

The skills you learn at Working Chance are for life.
