£40,000, Full-Time, London
Do you want to work for a dynamic charity helping women who’ve been involved with the criminal justice system to turn their lives around?
Working Chance is seeking an outstanding Head of Communications and Engagement with a proven ability to proactively build brand reputation and win hearts and minds. We need an experienced, skilled charity comms professional who’s used to delivering to a range of audiences in a multi-channel environment, securing high levels of engagement and positive change.
You’ll be responsible for developing powerful, compelling communications and inspiring people to engage with Working Chance - whether that’s women who need our help, employers who might hire our women, or potential partners such as other charities, prisons and the probation service.
You’ll need a solid grasp of strategy as you’ll be creating and implementing our strategy on media, brand, marketing and stakeholder engagement, but you’ll also be the sort of person who likes to roll their sleeves up and get hands-on. We are a small, passionate team with a great reputation for supporting and guiding women on their employability journey, working both with women in the community and in prisons. Our culture is inclusive, friendly and collaborative, with an emphasis on learning and development.
The post is part of our senior management team, offering the opportunity to play a role in leading a unique, ground-breaking charity that changes lives.
To apply, please send a full CV and a supporting statement setting out how you meet the person specification to firstname.lastname@example.org with Head of Comms in the email subject line. Applications will be judged on a rolling basis and the vacancy will close when we make an appointment, so early applications are strongly encouraged.
