We’re delighted to announce that Caroline Bald has joined our Board of Trustees. This appointment comes at a very exciting time for Working Chance as we launch our new strategy and look to expand our reach and impact.
Caroline is a social worker and lecturer at the University of Essex where she researches critical approaches to framing social work education in public policy. An experienced criminal justice social worker, she is passionate about addressing social exclusion of women with lived experience of the criminal justice system.
Caroline has been a longstanding supporter of our work and involved with Working Chance in many different ways. Most notably, as an experienced mindfulness practitioner, she delivered a mindfulness workshop to some of the women we work with as part of our on-going wellbeing support.
We look forward to working with Caroline at a time when women with convictions need our support more than ever.
