Trusts and Foundations
We are extremely grateful to all the charitable trusts and foundations who support our work.
Thanks to the grants received from a wide range of trusts and foundations, we can support a record number of women with convictions to rebuild their lives through employment.
Demand for our specialist employment support continues to rise. As a result, we are actively looking for new trusts and foundations to partner with as we move into a new strategy period. We can work with you to find the right area of funding that meets your trust or foundation’s requirements and are committed to providing the highest quality reports and evaluation.
Priority funding areas
-
1Flexible funding
Flexible or core funding is critical in ensuring that Working Chance can allocate funding where the need is greatest and achieve our core aims. Flexible funding allows us to not only provide an exceptional frontline employment, education and training service but also scale our policy and influencing activity to create long-term change.
-
2Frontline employment, education and training coaching
Our frontline employability coaches are at the heart of our mission to help women with convictions get their lives back on track through employment. By funding our frontline services, your trust or foundation will help us to meet fast-growing demand and achieve exceptional impact for the women we support.
-
3Policy and influencing
We are proud to make a direct and tangible difference to hundreds of women with convictions every year through our frontline service. But we also need to accelerate our work with employers, policymakers and parliamentarians to raise awareness of the barriers faced by women trying to access employment following a conviction, and work together to overcome them. Funding our policy and influencing work is invaluable in helping us to achieve systemic change.
